~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
New to the fashion industry is a Blue Crayon dress--to be precise, it's called, "Midnight Blue" by the designer, Rebecca Taylor.
The bodice is composed of crayons tips. I've enlarged the photo so that you can better make out the details.
In the future, Bloomingdale's will offer ready-to-wear fabric versions for purchase at their stores.
Sally this crayon dress is something else. Do you think it would melt on a hot summer day? LOL
Very clever idea. Different like Lady Gaga's meat dress. Thanks Sally for Blue Monday today.
What an unusual dress! I don't think it would be a comfortable dress to sit down in, would it? ;) Happy Blue Monday, Sally!
That's a clever design! I think only Lady Gaga or Björk can pull it off. Your post also reminds me of the viral sensation, the dress - the Internet was abuzz whether it was a gold and white dress, or a blue and black dress. Crazy.
Hi Sally, It is late but I wanted to link before morning.
Oh my word, the crayon dress is so wild. What would possess a designer to use this look? Would you wear this? Not me...mainly because I am not crayon thin!!!
Happy Blue Monday.
Love, Jeanne
About the thumbnail - it's hard to see, but the person on that round bridge had blue jeans on!
What an amazing find Sally. The colour of the skirt is beautiful. It's not really the style for me but I'd love to see it in its fabric version.
Happy Blue Monday.
Clearly a dress for designing women? Or maybe drawing room wear? :-)
Thanks for hosting, Sally!
Sally, What color is this dress? Some see white and gold. Others see blue and black. Yours is definitely blue. Thanks for sharing.
Some of the designers, must have too much time on their hands. I am not sure if I would want it even in a fabric design. Very interesting tho.
